Sugababes have become the first British pop act to sign for Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records.
The three-piece agreed a deal with the hip-hop star in London last month, it has been announced.
Currently working on their seventh album, which they have described as a “biggie” on their website, the trio -whose current lineup is Heidi Range, Keisha Buchanan and Amelle Berrabah – are classed as the most successful female act of the 21st century, having scored 16 top ten singles, seven Brit nominations and five million album sales.
The Push the Button stars have booked recording sessions in Miami and Los Angeles, according to their official website, and are planning to work the same production teams behind the success of Beyonce and Rihanna.
Like another famous girl group Sugababes have changed their lineup 3 times with, Keisha being the only original member.
