The music industry is in turmoil, and that's why so many artists are not doing as well as they could because the labels are not spending the money or the "magic formula" just doesn't work any more. Of course it doesn't we are in a digital, personalised, on-demand media environment. Come on Def Jam, we know you've got work to do with Jay-Z deal and all that but Amerie is talent that should have done better. Heck I'll do her marketing if they gave me the budget!!!
