I never really thought i would be blogging about anything to do with Soulja Boy on WFC but the other night on
Twitter, he went off and i mean OFF, really expressing his anger and confusion (tweets have since been deleted).
While some self riteous people casted his rants aside as ignorant and racist (he used the term cracker), i actually saw a boy lost in all of those tweets. Days later he has blogged for Global Grind clearly expressing what those 140 charactor tweets were all about. He is in the place where many young people with new money get to (read the blog to find out more). But i hope those people who dismissed him as being a disgrace etc etc…take the time to know what a cry for help or clarity is. Not everyone can communicate things in the most perfect way and it doesn’t mean they are ignorant in the most pessamistic way either…i hope this blog will let you see that.
Its also funny that i pair this with a blog written from Super Producer Jermaine Dupri (Janet Jacksons boyfriend) for Huffington post. In the post he talks about what the ‘people’ expect from you when you are beyond great and building you up just to knock you down. In no way is SouljaBoy close Michael Jackson but what SB is going through now is probably about 1% of what Michael Jackson has had to go through (and more) his whole career …without being able to tweet rants or blog about it & when he did speak up about stuff (i.e Tommy Mattola) the press never took it seriously and tagged it coming from ‘Wacko Jacko’ ) .
I thought both blogs were interesting:

I’m still shocked saddeded that he’s gone. I loved his music my entire life. I look back now and remember how fun it was to listen to his music and wear the
clothing and dance around with friends. I will truly sadly miss him. I still listen to his music on my ipod and I even have a bunch of ringtones on my phone to help me think of better times.
RIP MJ
Your Music will live on forever
We Love You

Many people said that Michael Jackson donated at least $10,000,000 to
the people with HIV in Africa.
