The wait is indeed ‘OVA’ for the single that is, Rihanna has released her first track from the album which is called ‘Rated R’. The single is called Russian Roulette, most people thought it would be a dance track but i had a feeling it would be a dark ‘edgy’ song. Every album she has flipped her music and personal style to some extent and this time she’s just getting edgier.
It’s a slow pop/ rock (ish) ballad, i think she’s improving and she does what she does well and her fans love her for it.
On another note i don’t like posting things that a million other people have done in exactly the same way so when i came across this episode of the Tyra Show i thought it was a good addition to the post. I’m not insinuating anything but Tyra is addressing the issue of ‘Women who beat men’ which is something that people do not general pay attention to. The first 5 minutes is of a woman who beats up her boyfriend who she loves and admits to have hit him in the head with a stiletto (familiar???) and then goes on to say that the reason she hit him on one occasion was because of a text message she received ( it seems this is a REAL common issue? or is it based on a real situation that happened earlier this year).
Violence from anyone, man or woman is never the answer…now what can we do to get the awareness.
