**UPDATED WITH PART TWO – EVANDER HOLYFIELD & MIKE TYSON**
Yesterday ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson was on The Oprah Show. When i heard about Mike being on Oprah i was surprised, just because she seems to have a ‘no violent / abusive’ person policy. But for the good of the TV and the Mike Tyson Documentary she interviewed Mike, the result was a very raw, emotional and sad discussion about Mike’s past. However you can tell by the way that he was speaking on those subjects that he is in a a much better place now (the documentary was filmed two years ago) and with a enw wife and baby he is defenetly a man in transition.

If you can’t view the video, some parts that stood out to me were;

Mike on Robin Givens (Oprah mentioned i forget how young you guys were)

“I truly wanted to sock her (cue audience laugh)…it was an abusive relationship ,she was abusive also pushover”

Mike on His daughter’s death

“I don’t want to know how it happened (very emotional at this point) because if i know how it happened, it means someone is responsible and if someone is responsible then there’s going to be trouble”

Mike on His drug filled past

Oprah: “What was your choice of drug”
Mike:”Everything…..The drug dealer even tried to have an intervention with me and told me to stop”. “I took the drug dealers drugs and kept the money, i think they just felt sorry for me…i’m so ashamed of myself”

Mike also spoke about his current marriage to ‘KeKe’ and mentioned that she is the only woman he has been faithful to and thay his children are his life…they mean everything to him.

It really was a touching interview , it just made me wonder if this means she will be having Chris Brown or Rihanna on the chair in the future.

I think Oprah knows that more internal work needs to be done first (self discovery) so they have something to talk about on the show (becuase they sure aren’t going to talk details about the night in question)…that’s if it ever happens. Which it should , in some form because whatever happened that night (Wether we want to be realistic or not) is happening in young relationships all over the world.
