TV // Glee Goes From Gaga to God

In this weeks episode of Glee the show proves that they can not only create Gaga and Britney Spears episodes, but they can cover God in a diverse way…well as diverse as you can in a 40 minute musical show set in a school.

Glee ‘s popularity is rising high, so to cover God was a controversial thing to do, but i think they did a good job.

The storyline centres around Kurt’s father who has a heart attack and is in a comma. Kurt who is gay and doesn’t ‘believe in God’ struggles to come to terms with the spiritual theme of Glee club that week and his friends using prayer to support him in his time of need.

I won’t explain the whole episode but just in case you missed it yesterday (or waiting for it to air in your country)  it’s definitely one to watch.

The episode is called ‘Grilled Cheesus’ (3) , it’s teary and funny , with great vocal performances.

This was actually the first episode that I was able to watch and I must admit that I was surprised how how they went about approaching this topic.
